The Hague Public Prosecution Service Integrity Case

This case involves a 31-year-old administrative employee of the Public Prosecution Service’s office in The Hague, who admitted hiding her partner’s drugs and phone in a storage unit as police were about to arrest him.

Prosecutors demanded 240 hours of community service against the employee and a 2.5-year prison sentence against her partner on 16 September 2026, saying her conduct “damaged the integrity and trust in the Public Prosecutor’s Office” given her position within it.
